No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake

We love cheesecake in this house. It took me years to develop the perfect recipe; not too gritty, not too sweet, a perfect amount of tang. Then I lost the recipe for a year - it was a super depressing, cheesecakeless year.

Sometimes, though, people don't wanna wait 4-6 hours for a cheesecake to cool before it can be butchered...

Herby Chicken Bacon Cheeseburgers

I like to think I can use the word 'herby' like everyone else uses the word 'boozy'. Herby is a real word by the way...I totally thought I was making things up. These chicken burgers are perfectly herby and cheesy and satisfying.

P.S. There's bacon on it too.

Banana Split Truffles

Sometimes I judge a recipe by the pictures of the finished product. Of course by sometimes I mean pretty much always. I also tend to listen to my instincts (read; sweet tooth), when I see something I want to try.

I did both of these things when I saw these banana split truffles, which have fresh bananas in the white chocolate ganache center.

Bacon, Asparagus & Feta Pasta Salad

Something happens when you know summer is right around the corner. The days are getting longer, the air is fresher and the temperatures are rising. Pretty much a recipe to do anything except stay in the kitchen and cook all afternoon.

This is about the time I start picking recipes that don't involve the oven - pasta salads are good for that.

The Best No-Churn Ice Cream Ever!

I like to read a lot. Not always like smart, grown-up reading. More like blog-stalking and whatnot. Luchia at Luchia Cooks is one of those people I visit often (hey there!) and I feel like we're old friends with only an ocean between us. She makes some good lookin' stuff, but there was this one recipe she whipped up that made me drop everything (a few weeks later, but things were dropped I assure you).

I present to you, Luchia's No-Churn Ice Cream. This is the easiest, creamiest, most decadent ice cream you can possibly make without an ice cream maker (a bonus for those of us who are anti-unitasking appliances).
